Re: [SCRIPT REQUEST] Quick dash command?
Chiming in while I can, you can also try using a attack such as [SKULL_ASSAULT] which can be mapped to a secondary fire button or an action button as Chu said, though as far as controlling the direction you dash, I have not a clue as I have not had time to play with 3DGE throughout the entirety of t...

Re: 3DGEB v0.1
Hi Chu, I want to take the time to say thanks for this SUPER awesome release. It's now easier to use the interface of GZDoom without the limitations brought upon the editing format. I'm not sure if it's UDMF, but it would be awesome to one day have Z positioning for things on the map - this would ma...

Re: Hi and questions about 3edge
Howdy, Raoh! As a matter of fact, you CAN give reduced damage benefits to the player via armour. Here is how it works: Lets say you have green armour. http://www.teamhellspawn.com/vox_greenarmour.png In DDF, Green armour is allocated to give the player 25% damage resistance. That percentage is hardc...

The 3DGE Screenshot Kiosk
I thought a screenshot thread would be pretty fun, I wanted to show along my progress with things without necro-bumping the hell out of old projects. Feel free to share your shots if you wish to! :) I have a couple: MAP01 of ATTRITION for Boom-only: http://dreardev.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/attrit...

Re: Glowing Flats
SO! I did some tests, fiddled around and wallah.. Glowing flats! My suspicions were right, these effects are Things and must be added to your editor via configuration file. My goal is to have Doom Builder 2 fully functional and compatible with EDGE. It still uses old EDGE configs so once I get every...

Re: Glowing Flats
Did the same thing and used DOOM2 for testing. Still no changes. Maybe those definitions are actual things that need to be placed within a sector with the floor?

Re: Glowing Flats
That is exactly what I'm trying to do! I poked around in some DDF files and found this: Things.DDF [NUKAGE_GLOW:7041] RADIUS=16; HEIGHT=16; SPECIAL=NOBLOCKMAP,NOGRAVITY,NOSHADOW; DLIGHT.TYPE=MODULATE; DLIGHT.RADIUS=128; DLIGHT.COLOUR=#55FF55; GLOW_TYPE=FLOOR; STATES(IDLE)= NULL:A:2:LIT89:NOTHING, NU...

Glowing Flats
Salutations, RUNSABER here with a few questions regarding the features of 3DGE. I was wondering if it's possible to emulate/replicate GZDoom's glowing flats for use in 3DGE. Such as F_WATER emanating a bluish hue vertically along nearby sectors, and F_SKY1 casting a faded light as well. Maybe I shou...

Re: 3DGE Model Pack; 3HTP
Those new skies look SICK! I love that afternoon/overcast feel they have, it takes me back to Dooming on the PSX! Great work, please continue forward with this! Looking at the nukage, will there be additional frames with extended tics?
