Re: Cold Blood
Well, you don't need the change the actual source code if you're just going to change all of the content - even to make it standalone. That SDL.h error looks like it's coming from I_main, check where the SDL header is located. Put an absolute path to the directory containing it. Also, check I_sdlinc...

Re: Cold Blood
Sounds awesome! Best of luck on the mod.
BTW, you are trying to compile the source code - what changes have you made? Are your changes not compiling through or is the base project as a whole?

Re: Help me out!
By the DDF code he posted, he means Thin Sliding Doors . They operate much the same way Wolfenstein 3D handled them - two edges of a door can slide open. Alternatively, you can have only one side "slide" along as well. Thin means they are just a mid-masked texture on a two-sided linedef, but one tha...

Development Environment - HowTo
Okay guys, this thread was pretty much inevitable: I'm going to explain how to set up a development environment specifically for DreamEDGE. You are free to use what Compilers you want, but I'm a MinGW fan myself. CYGWIN is also a favorite, but I will only stand by those two. Now, To compile DreamEDG...

Re: DNS Errors
I have heard of this problem multiple times, but I haven't been able to track it. As you can see, I've been doing maintanence to the forum in hopes of restoring simple functionality. I'm not sure what went wrong but I'm dedicating tonight to fixing these issues.

Re: Doom Enhanced for EDGE
I know that in one version or another, it wouldn't turn to the right when looking around and yes it is slow to react. Also, I do believe the "ouch" face never was fixed in EDGE. I will look into that...I'm pretty knowledgeable in the face code routines. If its not fixed I will have it fixed in the ...
