TELEIN/TELEOUT_EFFECTOBJ

DDFLINE/LINES.DDF: 3DGE won't accept any TELEIN/TELEOUT_EFFECTOBJ that doesn't use thing nr 14. The teleporter will be rendered inoperatble.

SPLASH_SOUND

DDFSECT/SECTORS.DDF: SPLASH_SOUND does not trigger if player is using scuba powerup. Logically, SPLASH_SOUND should always trigger.

Made no difference. Worth mentioning that I'm using two seperate WADs, one with the custom palette and one with none (default). I would use PNGs instead but the grab feature appears to be broken (I use SLADE to offset the images, 3DGE seems to just ignore it) and I would rather not resort to having ...

I've had some issues myself. It just doesn't seem to work properly. I'm using PNG images for an enemy with embedded offsets and without any entries in IMAGES.DDF but 3DGE appears to be doing something wrong. It's not centered but it not the correct offset either. The images will be set X=0 Y=0 aslong as the image itself doesn't use embedded coordinates (you need to make sure of this as to avoid conflicts). It's hard-coded into all Closecombat attacks I'm afraid. I got around it by making them hitscan shots (with an appropiate shorter range) instead. Say for a couple of minor diffrences, the two types of attacks are the same.
