Awaiting further verification/analysis - this should be "fixed" with a workaround for now. @UsernameAK is doing proper backend support for key bindings, but at the moment I have also added the ability for a Joystick key to exist alongside standard USE (which will always for now be KEYD_JOY1, usually...

Awaiting verification; as you discovered and so kindly fixed, the entry wasn't created as a null sound effect in the sfx struct beforehand - which would indeed lead to the crashing behaviour. I also added this for the other new sounds (gloopsound, secretsound).

Something I’ve long wanted to do. As a result of improving existing EDGE slopes, but then later adding vertex heights might have borked them (UDMF).
@Lobo: I’ll start looking into it! Is there a way you can create a map with UDM slopes to test that piece as well?

I can do that. We already have global definitions to change the lighting levels, so this shouldn’t be too convoluted.
