Sprite(s) facing angle and other question.

Postby Karnizero » Wed 16 Dec 2009 10:48 am

I need to make certain one side(face) sprite to face(look at) a certain angle BUT permanently, this is, without rotations and with his only face, so the player will see that face, unless he is perfectly parallel with that sprite horizontal.

Is that possible?

Other Question:
I need a projectile to check whether it has hit a monster or a wall/decoration sprite.
Is there any simple and easy way to do this?

Actually, i spawn an actor when the missile explodes, that actor searches for a monster nearby, for one second. If found the monster, he attacks it, and i call a RTS Script (what i want to do when the projectile hits the monster).

The problem appears when there are more than one monster pretty close, and the "projectile spawned actor" attacks a random monster, not always the monster who has been hit by the projectile.

I'm using last edge version.

Thanks in advance.
