Block Action/Key?

Hi, I'm working on a Lightsaber weapon for EDGE.


What I'm wondering is, would it be possible to add an action key (or use alternate fire, perhaps) that would allow the weapon to block incoming projectile attacks?

Yes, this is possible, has been in fact as long as I've been using edge.
You'll need to give your projectiles health values, and simply use an attack that damages them. For bonus points, spawn a projectile heading 180 degrees from the original ones trajectory to create a lightsaber laser shot bounch effect.

Light sabers are for wusses... I'll take a trusty blaster over one any day. Let's see a Jedi dodge a *headshot* :).
