Edge Builder?

So I've been learning the ropes of newbie mapping thanks to SRBDoombuilder for the Sonic mod that uses Doom Legacy. The quickie tutorials have got me confident enough to try my hand at classic DB1 once I've mastered all the basics.

I was wondering if anyone thought there might be an advantage in EDGE having a similar level designing program, even though DB has plenty of edge scripts and an edge map format setting.

SrBDB for Sonic is based on DB1 with some extra niceties like 3d mode sector editing and a FoF wizard (which is broken btw).

We know there aren't coders available right now, I'd just like to field some opinions from you modders out there.

I can't say how DB1 or DB2 supports or has the config files for EDGE, but in my oppinion, your best chance is to use Slade Map Editor and download the EDGE configuration files for it, which contains all EDGE thingies allowing you to map for EDGE without any trouble.

I would make too a DB1/2 config file for EDGE, but I'm out of time.
