Gamepad controller

Postby Lobo » Wed 23 Jul 2008 10:07 pm

Just remembered this the other day. Any chance of getting gamepad/joystick support in EDGE?

And please, no discussions along the lines of:
"I'm uberleet: only nubies can't use a mouse/keyboard combo" :D

you've got to be l33t to use a gamepad.
I put my vote behind this, I've got sixaxis drivers and it kills me that I can't play EDGE with the sexy little thing.

Yes! Joypad support would really add to the engine. I put my full vote behind this as well.

I finally got around to trying out one of these "profiler" apps and was pleasantly surprised! Very configurable and pretty easy to use: got it all set up for EDGE in about 20 minutes, with dual analog sticks being used and everything!

I eventually settled for xpadder gamepad profiler, which I seem to have acquired at some stage a long time ago while it was free, because now it seems to be payware.
