The 'more blood' option

Postby hungerfish » Sun 09 Sep 2007 12:54 pm

I think it needs some improving. Basically it just looks off when turned on (pun intended..).
So what I think would be really neat are blood marks on walls/floors, like in legacy or zdoom. They really give the game more 'depth' 8)

Any thoughts on this, how could this be done?

Decals will be coming soon enough (Or maybe not). This feature is quite frequently asked for =p

As Visplane has mentioned, this requires decals, which is a lot more work. On the topic, the blood decals should probably be turned on with a different option to partical blood.

Can you link me to an MP3 to OGG converter? I've never been able to find one. Or maybe I've never been able to find an OGG to WAD converter, really can't remember anymore

For linux using gnome there's

which integrates into the file manager nautilus.
There's also a similar project for kde , I've just forgotten it's name.
For windows, I think it shouldn't be to hard to find capable software using google.
