Berlin 1940 Weapons Preview [DLOAD Pg1]

Hi folks!!!

I am doing a Doom Total Conversion, includidng new weapons, monsters, maps, sounds, music,
custom scripts and some other surprises.

I have been developing it for a lot of time, but still many things are missing.
Right now, the monsters, textures set and weapons are done. Now remains the hardest thing: the mapping.

I don't have much time to play Doom, that's why i do this slow.

So I think the time has come to release something, not really special, but I hope you enjoy playing it, as i did creating it.
I will release a weapons preview for you all to enjoy and play with it arround, and, why not, to check out the code and use

parts of it, if you need.

I can't tell you much about the history of the full TC, and how it will work or how it will look.

Weapons Preview: [4219 Kb]

The weapons preview contains 12 weapons. They are:

1- Blood Game Fork
2- Blood Game Flare Pistol (primary and secondary attack)
3- Blood Game Shotgun (primary and secondary attack)
4- Blood Game Tommy Gun (primary attack. Still need to implement secondary)
5- Blood Game Napalm Launcher
6.1- Blood Game Normal Dynamite (primary and secondary attack)
6.2- Blood Game Proximity Dynamite.
6.3- Blood Game Remote Dynamite.
7- Blood Game Gas Can (primary attack. Missing secondary attack, due to the lack of the graphics)
8- Blood Game Tesla Rifle (primary and secondary attacks)
9- Blood Game Life Leecher
0- Blood Game Voodoo Doll (primary and secondary attack. Life draining side effects working.)

That's the Weapons Preview. Play with your favourite map.
It also contains a new complete redone player HUD, with the SAME distribution that the Blood game HUD.

Note that this is only a weapons preview, so some weapons will not be able to be picked up. You will have to use cheats to use some of them.

Although I can't and i don't want say any other detail on what the completed TC will be (no, it will not be a Blood TC for Doom), i can tell you that:

-> All monsters replacement.
-> Maps completely new and balanced detail, with no doom textures at all.
-> New, cool and complex map graphic effects, never saw before in any Doom map (yes, I don't lie). All efects are already implemented and fully tested. Intensive use of the last EDGE Engine Possibilities (portals, mirrors, translucency, etc...)
-> New ambience sounds, music,
-> All weapons from the preview will be avaiable, aswell as some other surprise.
-> Different map styles: pure action maps but also puzzle maps, and maps mixing both types.

So, we can resume the TC progres as follows:

- WEAPONS: 100%
- SND, MUS, TEX: 99%
- OTHER: 100%

Although the mapping the the most heavy and long process, I have a lot of ideas in mind and paper. Anyway, don't spect this to be full released soon.

The animations are spot on from blood. Great job. Can't wait to see the rest of this. I can't stand the suspense!
