I've always liked the Cacodemons, there is just something elegant about them.... Personally, I'd give them a more realistic lighting attack which would be very hard to avoid. Their "bite" is rarely used, so maybe give them a charging attack? Kinda like the big brother to the lost soul.... Another idea would be combine some demon robotics of a dead Caco, with some tech from a Reverant. I see many possibilities there.

Please excuse my use of paint..... LOL
Try adding some talons, or claws into the design of the cacodemon. I know the caco keeps itself afloat with gas sacks, and what not... But when it's resting I'd imagine that it need to keep itself stable when perched/hanging around somewhere. Also, when tearing into it's victims at close range or when it's simply too weak to spit out a lighting arc, it would need some sort of arm or claws to keep it's victim put while it takes a bite.

Hey Agar! I just played through your alpha demo of Doomed Again.
It's absolutely fantastic!

I also would like to add that my system specs are way under your recommended requirements and the frame rate is fine.
I have less than a gig on the cpu and under half a gig on ram. The graphics card is a plain-jane geforce 5200.

Happy holidays to all the edgy types who hang out around here. :D

Good lord, the filesize was enormous. I have nothing against it as Hypertension is around that filesize, but I mean, for an alpha, that even uses the original IWADS, that's gigantic. You should think about toning some of that down, sometimes the community doesn't take to large WADs like that.

Otherwise, it was fun. Something about it got repetitive quick, but I dug the pretty "particle" effects.

I don't think you should be giving advice about what the community will take to Corbin.

zZaRDoZz, I'm glad to hear about your experience running on those specs, I've been a little concerned about the toll high res sprites take on performance in EDGE and it's sweet to hear they're running well on your rig. I've heard Agar has done a fair bit as far as cutting down resolutions on certain frames to optimise performance, and I guess that's paid off.
