So, any opinions from you guys on how the game is shaping up so far? At our blogsite we have a ton of info, even a little music player to listen to some of the soundtrack.

The gun reminds me a little of a super soaker... LOL

Your work always looks good Corbin! Keep it up.

Why is the hud (the black-skullz-thing) just as large as the weapon? it looks far to huge and also to bright (it's brighter than those lights!), IMO 8)

That's gotta be the strangest way yet of entering the "Make a new HUD for Hypertension" contest that I've ever seen.

You win a sega genesis if your hud makes it into the game.

So maybe I let more than just the dogs out this time...

Thoughts? A lot of the potential questions can be answered in the video's description on Youtube.

Enjoy!

Hey Corbin, great Job so far, saw the trailers, and i saw your recruitment call. while i do not have the time or the compulsion to work on your team, i would like to point something out

have you ever tried making 3d models, and then taking low-res, high definition renders?

this is taken from 3dsmax, in mental ray, with the render set to maximum definition, at 200 x 120 i believe, and angled to look like it fits a hand (although a bit awquard the hands will not be seen much of)

you can take renders and turn them into sprites, put hands onto it, and then put re existing barrelflames floating around, and work with the animations like that.

and the whole reason im saying anything is because your modelers could easily make sprite weapons this way, and become proficient in sprite editing, with a little bit of elbow grease.

Good luck on your mod, i eagerly await the release! and good luck on finding the sprite editor you need

Just a few more shots. These are older than what we're working on, but gives you a good idea in what direction we're heading. We have a decent objective system built (graphics were placeholder, we ended up moving and reworking the system).

Haha, for now yeah. I don't have a transfer cart for my 32X yet, so this is the next best thing.

More screens from the 32X Version:
