:Bump:...ok sorry about that but I have some questons for ajapted so here it is. ajapted I need to know your favorite ACDC song as well as maybe a pic of yourself for my project, why well a HQ building will be nothing without a Boss to kick people around as wll as have a kickass ending for everyone to see or rock out to...... I just hope I'm not giving away too much on my project :x If you don't want to(meaning picture wise) I understand. I just plan on somthing special with a sprite image of you, doom guy, and ACDC.

Hehe, no photo I'm afraid but you could always portray me with a mad scientists type character, like that Czech guy in Stargate Atlantis :)

My favorite AC/DC song is Hells Bells.

Nice, thanks alot, and for the pic I figured much. So mad scientist eh well maybe I'll post some consept art and you and others can tell me what you think(I'll try not to make you look like Dr.Betruger.....unless you want to.). And so thanks for the song I'll see if I can fit it in the mod, just one question can you add sound/ music(.ogg or whatever it is into a THING? I'll be asking alot of questions because I am unaware of all of EDGE's features and what I can do. Is there a place on this site or Lobo's that can help me.

For music you should check out the new Nine Inch Nails album- Ghosts: there's an official torrent floating around and the tracks I've heard are all very "soundtracky" and it'?s all instrumental.

BTW the album was torrented by the actual singer himself, and the tracks are released under a

I absolutely love where this thread is going, but let's try and stay on topic shall we?

I would be willing to contribute to this Tech Demo project but I think that while all of us EDGE modmakers have our hands full with full-out EDGE projects that motivation to make a complex tech demo is going to be kind of low. For now I think we should all just work away on our respective projects, but keep this tech demo idea in mind.

Of course it would be far more impressive for the general Dooming public to see all the crazy new features for the first time in our mods themselves, and they'll seem less like features added just because EDGE has them, and more like integral, seamless parts of the game itself!

Also, much of the attractiveness of EDGE is not in specific "features" alone, but many cool things you can pull off with a COMBINATION of those features and smaller things. So, while that could be done in a tech demo, it's best done in a mod with a story and continuous gameplay!

Yes! Basically what he's saying is that it'll be more impressive if it's included in a mod, since we're all doing different features, we should keep them to each as they are.

A tech demo would be cool but everyone knows what this engine is capable of already, and with our current crop of mods we're able to figure this stuff out and bend them, basically comes with the praise of each mod upon release. We want to blow people away and to show them that EDGE is capable of much more than people give it credit.
