I don't think I will be releasing anything this weekend after all. I'm my own worst enemy: I've had an idea for another tool that I want to add, so this will postpone things for another week. The new tool is gonna be a Wad Merger, and will allow merging two or more wads. Maybe you folks don't work t...

Lonely Meadows

Hey BloodAngel/Tragos, I remember you! Welcome to the new EDGE forums. Here is something I think you should take a look at! It's sorta like XWE, but has support for: Terminator: Rampage, Terminator : Future Shock, Terminator : Skynet Not sure if it's what you're after but it might be handy for somet...

Looking good man, but if I may make a suggestion, that sky needs to be darker: the lighting for the level and the clear blue sky just don't look right.

Let me know and I'll do you a new one.

Well I've been asked if DoomPAL and/or EMUS will run on Vista, but since I've no access to a box running Vista I have no way of knowing.

I'm fairly confident they will run, since both apps are DotNet which theoretically means they'll run with no issues.

I hear you. At the moment I'm playing through "Black" on the PS2, which as far as eye-candy goes is really impressive, and the AI is pretty decent I admit, but I've only played a couple of hours and I'm on the second last map! Hell, I remember I was playing PSX Doom for weeks! And don't ge...

Status update: 16 May 2007 This is going pretty fast! I've now got almost all the tools I mentioned above incorporated and working except for ELI, which is next on my list. I've still got to tweak RTS-IDE and IDT further down the road, but those tweaks depend on ELI being done, so next stop is EDGE...

List of editing tools

Here's list of all those great little freeware programs one accumulates over the years as well as some docs and tutorials that come in handy when doing stuff for EDGE: 2d Graphic editing: Paint.NET - Great free alternative to the big boys like PSP and Photoshop, and a lot less complicated than The G...

Not sure exactly what you mean, but if you're talking about importing them into a wad using ELI then you can go 2 ways: 1. Start writing your DDF from scratch (with DDF-offline open beside the editing window to see what commands you have) 2. Directly editing an existing DDF Lump in your wad. In both...

We also have forums on SourceForge but here we are with new ones  Whichever you want. The good thing about posting it here is that the feature request can be discussed first, take a look at the pros and cons etc. and maybe someone can even help you to do what you need with the existing EDGE ve...

Edge Modders Utility Suite(EMUS)

Well, thought I'd get the ball rolling and post some news about one of my projects here at the shiny new EDGE forum! Well, for a while I've been toying with the idea of creating an application composed of several other utilities which can come in handy for your average EDGE TC developer. I've final...
