Note, these actions I suggest occur in an NPC's definition:

AMMO=#;
CLIPSIZE=#;

A maybe make a state [RELOAD] and [ATTACK_NOAMMO] [MELEE_NOAMMO] for enemies.

I've been thinking about how vehicles might be done in EDGE. If you've ever played Aliens TC, you'll remember the walking cage you can step into and attack the aliens with. It is implemented as a weapon. I think the same approach could work in EDGE, with a fair bit of new code to make it work seaml...

No, the most annoying creatures to me are Shotgun Guys. They are often the ones that kill me, and I always miss them... like, I clear out an entire room, and one lone Shotgun Guy will walk up, shoot me at point blank range, and kill me. This ALWAYS happens.

EVERYTHING is destructible. This includes, lamps, chairs, dead bodies, barrels, trees (can also be set on fire), static weapons/ammo and other power-ups laying on the ground (so watch your fire!), even walls if the system I'm working out for that feature meets fruitition. I like that, it can be fun...
