Agreed. Used responsibly, models could work in mainly sprite-based EDGE mods, for example : I do recall that Liberation wanted to use models for plants in his Napalm TC (Right?). However, as I see from your screenshot, even full-blown enemies don't look that bad! :P

I noticed another thing about Doom 2.5, though to be truthful, it's more of a problem with Doom 3 :P some of the guns in Doom 3 are left handed, in the sense that they eject shells to the left! Clearly, the Doom3guy is right-handed, so this makes no sense. Maybe he likes pain? I'm not sure, but the ...

Well done, but there's a few minor tweaks that are needed that would really help the atmosphere. For example, the zombie's death sounds, are too quick for how long his animation is. I think decreasing the amount of tics per frame would really make it look more synced to the sound. Another thing, rel...

I'm gonna have to point out that you may not want the Playstation Portable :P They are notoriously fragile, and have a battery life. To top off, there aren't a whole lot of games for it (Though, I suppose that would depend on what you like to play. Honestly, I only picked up one game for it - Metal ...

I've never been too pleased with Sega's consoles, the Genesis and the Saturn had some ok games though. As for the consoles I own, that would be, NES, SNES, Gameboy, N64, Gamecube, Playstation, PSP, Playstation 2, Sega Genesis...and I think that's about it. I don't have any of the new Next-gen consol...

Well, perhaps I misunderstood you, and yes, it is probably a good idea to keep mainly to the more open-minded EDGE community (Not that the other communities are all that bad, it's simply that they most likely wouldn't cheer you on for continuing this mod =p) Anyhow, officially announcing this may be...

That sounds like a good idea to me, although, I do find that when projects come out into the open, you can be harassed quite a bit when you don't meet your deadlines/don't provide enough content to whet the appetite of the fans :P Just look at Korax Mod, they've been under a lot of fire in recent we...

I understand the want for a game experience unlike Doom, since it is almost as old as I am. Your idea is refreshing to hear, and the more you say, the greater your project sounds. Decals and chase cam? Incredible =)

I believe he meant that whenever he created a liquid in an area, the water would be damaging. I'm going to further probe this and ask whether you mean that it damages you after holding your head under water for a period of time, or if it's just continuous damage like a slime pit? :P I presume the la...

Mmm, it sounds like you're making quite the modification, Corbin ;p As for large downloads, I'm not really concerned, because unless we're talking about things like CounterDoom: Edge, then a large filesize generally means good things =) Judging by what you tell me, I understand that this mod (or TC,...

Umm, Chronoteeth, you do realize that Ajapted releases a changelog alongside the main EDGE files, right? It's a whopping 2 meg download, I doubt that it's going to clog up your hard disk. Aside from simply downloading the archive, there are other ways... y'know, like clicking that title beneath 'Doc...

Indeed, it may be best if the would-be modder could specify the key that must be pressed to enter/exit the vehicle. Nonetheless, that's a very good idea, and makes me think of the Goldeneye TC =p In that, when you 'entered' the tank, your weapon would be permanently switched to the main cannon, and ...
