Many other sourceports like zdoom and legacy have their own wikis. Why not EDGE? Wikis are good because they are so easy to edit that anyone could write their own tutorials. Tomppa solved this problem for me (thank him) You have to draw the all ammo (player.main_ammo) then minus the clip size from it. (player.clip_size) remember to have show_clip false in the DDF.
